Finally one that works! [Posted on 2008-05-25] I have purchased a few of these devices over the past month, this one is great reception is good and the holder is nice.
Sounds awful [Posted on 2008-05-27] If you're looking for a way to listen to your iPod in your car, forget this item. The only radio band it would play on sounded horrible. I consider it money wasted.
THIS WORKS!! I live in Chicago Suburbs, no problems at all! [Posted on 2008-06-07] I am thrilled, I saw a product like this at BEST BUY, but was $100. I knew immediately that I could find it on AMAZON for a way better price, and here it is! Some people have troble with the FM Frequencies, due to living in a big city, they find it difficult to find a station to use, but here in CHICAGO, the very first one I tried (88.1) worked. It took less than a minute to figure it out. I worried I didn't have everything I needed, it seemed too simple, but everything is here and it works perfectly. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
Not a good long-term purchase [Posted on 2008-06-14] Cheap and great in the beginning. Worked like a charm. Never had to change the station despite driving through 8 different states. However, after the first 6 months, it became very picky and had to be constantly wiggled to get the reception. Now, less than a year after purchasing it, it no longer works. Every time you'd hit a bump in the road it'd get knocked out of transmission because it had become unbearably picky. Required constant wiggling and adjusting during the last 6 months of it's approximately one year (but actually a little less) lifespan. Not recommended for long-term use.
good product if you know about it [Posted on 2008-06-24] The bad reviews on here are because if you get even the slightest reception, the signal will be scratchy on your ipod. but it is a good product and I have had this product for well over 2 years now and I use it for about 4 hours each day. good product, cheap and totally worth it!
