No complaints about the tent. The instructions left a bit to the imagination; however, as a first-time camper, I can report that the tent remained dry through a soaking rain AND does fit post-use back into the carrying case provided. :-)

Great value for the price, too.

a pole broke, I don't trust the other ones [Posted on 2006-05-03]
I have set up pole tents, so I had no problem putting this tent up alone. (females DON't NEED instructions (c: ) The tent was totally waterproof after 3 days of rain! The "sky light" is great! Unfortunately one of the poles broke while taking down the tent. SO I am sending it back, as I do NOT want others snapping while using the tent.

This is a really plain tent. Not too many bells and whistles. Relatively easy to set up and seems to be durable. With just features I would have given it a four but the really cheap price was what pushed it to a 5. I would say the target buyer for this would be a camper on a budget or the once-per-year camper.

This tent was a great deal. I bought it last year but didn't get to use it so I broke it out last week in the rain. It kept us nice and dry. I love the skylight and the extensions are a brilliant idea, providing much more shoulder room than a regular dome tent. The gear loft is small, but still nifty. Overall this was a great purchase and I look forward to using it a lot more.
