They Sound Good, But..... [Posted on 2007-03-27] ...I cannot get them to securely fit in my ears, they fall right out because of their shape. They are round, hard plastic, about the size of a dime. Dang, twenty bucks wasted.
Pretty Rad Earbuds [Posted on 2007-06-08] After I broke my iPod earbuds I was forced to use my closed ear headphones and they are just too large and hot to wear outside. After searching around a bit I was delighted to find the AKG K12P earbuds. For $18 you can't go wrong with these earbuds. I will admit though, I don't know what they meant by "turbobass" because the bass doesn't seem to be that great but thats fine with me because I rarely listen to bass heavy music. Overall these are really great earbuds and I'm really happy with my purchase!
not to my expectation [Posted on 2007-07-21] this one i expected quite a good sound quality before i bought reading from
revies but did not make it enough to my expectation after listening comparing with SONY md series even basic MD model...bass is thin and others are quite OKies..treble and mid..less dynamic also...
not your typical AKG product.. [Posted on 2007-08-24] I was really disappointed with these earbuds. The first pair that arrived had problems, one of the buds distorted high pitch sounds and medium to high volume. The new ones that arrived were OK initially, but the distortion problem came about again after a month of use. I'm not using them anymore.
Regarding sound quality, I bought these to have better earbuds than those that come with creative nano plus mp3 players. The stock creative ones sound way better than this, especially if you like to hear some bass in your music. AKG's are ok in mid-tones and trebles.
I've used AKG products before and never had issues. The AKG headphones I use in studio have never caused trouble in the past 10 years. I guess this is their lowest end product, so you shouldn't expect typical AKG quality from these headphones. It breaks my heart to give 2 stars to this item.
Can't complain! [Posted on 2007-11-10] After my creative earphone was totaled by my 18 month old daughter, I have been looking for a replacement. With the positive reviews on Amazon, I decided to give this one try. Well, this earphones are just great! I prefer the traditional style with bigger drivers to the modern earplug style with tiny drivers. And this does have big drivers producing warm and smooth sound. I gave 4 star as the high frequency feels not crispy enough for me. However, this is very solid everyday earphone that you can get without breaking your piggy bank.
