Definitely Needs More Research/No Value for Money [Posted on 2006-11-24]
I am using this product from last 6 months. Mostly with my Laptop, after 50 odd minutes the headphone goes silent with beeps as the base station stops relaying the signal (all the lights on the base station suddenly go blank). The manual says that should be used within given room temperatures only (I use it at around 45F) still the headphone dies after 50+ minutes. Again start working after you use this after 1-2 hrs. Actually the company should do proper research as the technology is given to CHINA for mass production, there may be glitches, I don't think any one paying so high cost (I purchased for $156 as it was new that time). Definitely needs more research on technology or replace cheap parts used inside the base station.

After much researching, I selected the Sennheiser RS140 wireless headphones as a gift for my husband. He likes to turn up the volume on the TV whiles watching sports so it is really a gift to me because I have some quiet in the house! The headphones are amazing. Very easy to set up. He wears them all of the time and I love the quiet in the house. The range is great. He even wears them when taking out the trash. The sounds is incredible. He shows everyone the headphones when they visit. They are also great for people who are hard of hearing because the sound source is right at the ear instead across the room. 5 stars!!

I bought this headphone for a couple of months now. I like it very much. It produced excellent quality sound most of the time. However, it sometimes has static noises, especially when I move around the house. Also, the three volume adjustment wheels on the right earphone are not well designed. They are on the back of the earphone and higher than its base, very often when I laid down on a couch or a bed, the wheels accidentally changed position because of the contact with couch or pillow and altered the volume unexpectedly. This is a great product if you having a hearing loss. Shuts itself off if you turn the TV off. Easy to use. Good battery life.

I don't have to wear my hearing aids with Sennhauser wireless. The sound is fabulous. I,have in the past, bought 4 other brands, and this one beats them all.
