This is, in my opinion, the very best iPod protective case available.
The first time I saw an Agent18 case I was with my friend and his 80gb iPod. I told him the case looked nice and wanted to know how well it protected. He proceeded to hold his iPod at about waist length and drop it flat onto his hardwood floor. Now, owning two previous iPods and having cracked BOTH LCD screens, I was sure his iPod would be ruined. This wasn't true. He picked his iPod back up off the ground and there it was, in perfect condition.
Now I highly recommend you don't do this to your own iPod but the point is, these cases protect very nicely, which is something most other iPod cases seemingly fail to do properly.

Well, I just got my first iPod for Christmas, and I was very paranoid about using it much until I got a case for it. Not knowing what I really needed, I got a DLO Jam Jacket--silicone sleeve with ear bud management. Pretty nice case, but it lacked two features that I discovered that I really wanted. Number one--it doesn't allow me to dock my iPod in the new car cradle I also got, so I'd have to remove it each time. And it's not that quick and easy to do. Number two--it doesn't also protect the screen of the iPod, which I believe to be of paramount importance. Enter the Agent 18. I read the previous review, and happened to find this at a local store, so I grabbed it.
Here's what I love about it:
1. It is easily removable for use in the car cradle/dock.
2. It is hard plastic/polycarbonate, including covering the screen. (My youngest son's alter ego is Destructo-boy, so this is EXTREMELY important!)
3. It comes with some bonuses that I really wasn't looking for, but now appreciate: there is an easel-type stand (removable), for propping up the iPod on a table or desk or whatever, and there is a belt clip (also removable). I appreciate that they are both removable and interchangable.
4. It is clear all the way around, so I can show-off (not that this is really important) my iPod.
I'm not about to voluntarily test out how tough this is by dropping it on a hard floor, but I'm resting a little easier now that it is on my iPod, versus leaving my new toy "naked"!

I purchased this case because I was going out of town and wanted something to keep my Ipod from getting scratched up in my briefcase. I wanted something small, simple, and unobtrusive. What I wasn't expecting was that the case would do its job so well. The two halves attach very securely protecting the screen and the back while allowing access to the headphones, bottom port, and hold switch. There is no cover for the touch wheel, but other cases I've tried with wheel covers haven't worked well for me.
The case comes with a detachable, adjustable stand which has rubber feet. This is great for watching movies on a plane when you set it on the tray table. The stand can be folded flat giving the case some grip when you set it down. It also comes with a detachable metal belt clip (which I have never used).
All in all, this is the best case I've come across. I'm not looking to take my Ipod classic to the gym, so I just want something to protect it from general wear-and-tear. I have purchased one other case and examined several friends' cases and I haven't found one I like better. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good, every-day case.
As I postscript, I must say that I have recently found that this case is also available with an "accessory pack." I believe that might be the one I purchased (with the stand, etc) but since I didn't purchase mine through Amazon, I would recommend that potential buyers read carefully before purchasing.
