The coolest house on the block [Posted on 2008-06-12] I purchased this to show movies to my kids and their friends for a "luau" party, while they were in the pool. Granted while it is light outside, you can't see the movie, but that is not the screens fault. When night came, the move started and the kids were in awe. I have to admit, I was truly impressed as well. If you want to get super nit picky, I guess you could argue that a couple of creases were visible on the screen, but you would have to be looking for them. And if it is windy, the screen moves and can look a little off, but again, you would have to be looking for the flaw.
This thing is cool, easy to set up/take down, and is a hit. After the party, my daugter said the kids were talking about it in school the next day!
Inflatable Outdoor Movie Screen Review [Posted on 2008-12-27] This screen is a good value for the money and works well around our pool. The quality of the stitching and the material is pretty good but not excellent. The screen will ship with wrinkles in it because it was folded. To fix this just roll the screen up after use, never fold the screen. (The screen and the inflatable base separate from one another for storage) Another thing worth pointing out is that the white screen has a black out cloth stitched to the back so you can't use this screen for rear projection. This screen base has two small fans, one in each foot base and it inflates the base quickly (one minute). The fans do make some noise but once the movie is playing you really don't notice it. Once inflated it will take several minutes to stake and anchor the screen to the ground. This part is necessary because even a light breeze will blow the screen over. Note: The anchor lines are black and WILL be a trip hazard with kids running around during the movie. One last observation, the inflatable screen pictured looks like the base is black but the base that shipped to me was a med blue.
