I bought this a year ago-it's very convenient--esp at Christmas time when I want to tote all my Christmas music w/ me to the parent's house. I find I take it to the beach, park, or anywhere you want to enjoy music. The sound quality is excellent for such a small package. My only 2 complaints are the 1) the wire antena that must dangle along wherever you take it and 2) that you can't control the Surround sound or bass boost unless you have the remote control with you. Other than that, Altec is a great speakerdock for the $$. Glad to see someone making after market products for the Sansa!
Have Waited a Long Time for this Product [Posted on 2008-06-13]
The product does what I wanted and expected it to do. This is the first product of this type that I have found to accommodate my Sansa e200 mp3 player. Although it is not my primary sound system, I still enjoy it on a daily basis.

I was going to buy an IPOD, and a speaker for my office, but instead found this for my Sansa E250. I spent less for the set than what it would have cost for an IPOD Nano.
It sounds great. It works well. I have to agree that the antenna is a little weird, but I left it wrapped up, and it seems to work fine.
This item is so good, I ordered a second one for my wife's office.

I was pleasantly supprised at the sound quality especially the bass response out of this little package, I highly recomend this product.The shipping was super fast, I ordered it on sunday afternoon and was using it Wednesday afternoon! (with standard shipping)

I was very disappointed at the FM radio reception. In places where my Sansa or other device gets a clear signal the Altec is fuzzy. It has a funky little wire "antenna" which makes no sense in a portable device. Other gripes are the dinky remote and strange press and hold -delayed response button system. I tried to return it but would have been dinged with shipping and restock charges.
