It took less than two minutes to configure the mouse and begin using it. Connectivity is excellent, and tracking is as good as any wired mouse. It is very small, but its weight and length are comfortable even for large hands. Highly recommended.
Great looking and functional Bluetooth mouse [Posted on 2007-02-22]
Pros:
-Power Switch!!!!! Not having this on one of my older BT mice was a sure way of that mouse running out of power when it was inside a bag. Also, having a power switch means you can turn on the mouse and have it link up with your computer without having to click on a button, which on my other mouse would send that click to your computer.
-Ability to replace batteries.
-Ability to use mouse while it is recharging
-Stylish. I've gotten lots of nice comments on it.
-Nice feel to the mouswheel. It has solid "steps"
-Comes with a nice little tiny bag to protect the rubberized finish of the mouse.
Cons:
-LED on top of charging puck blinks annoyingly when charging
-Charging clip attaches to user side of mouse hence the charging cable comes out on the user side of the mouse. I have no idea why they didn't have it coming out the other side... It's annoying to have the cable coming towards you if you're using the mouse as you're charging it.
-The nice rubberized finish of the mouse is eventually going to wear away from dings...
Great option for laptops or home entertainment center [Posted on 2007-05-10]
I originally went looking for a Bluetooth mouse because I wanted a wireless mouse for my laptop, but I didn't want a large USB receiver hanging off the end. This was the perfect solution. The rechargeable base is invaluable, since the batteries only last about a month. I was able to use the mouse effectively from at least 30 feet away, although I suspect you could take it a little further. At that distance it becomes more of a matter of seeing the pointer on the screen. I always do a lot of research before I make a purchase, and I'm more than satisfied with this device. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I also used it with my home entertainment center, since it doesn't require an in sight receiver. Everything remains hidden behind your media cabinets. Now I just need a decent Bluetooth keyboard.
Bluetooth connection problems [Posted on 2008-04-05]
I loved the concept and it was a product that was unique in its time. The reoccurring problem I encountered was that I kept losing the Bluetooth connectivity between my laptop and the mouse. Very little support exists for the mouse.
The mouse was not ergonomic but it is the price to pay for compactness.
