Excellent product [Posted on 2008-04-25] I use this bluetooth adapter with a Samsung WEP210 headset (not great)... I can walk almost 10 from the computer still being able to hear conversations wonderfully. The other side doesn't hear me after 3-4m but that's only because the Samsung's broadcast strength is very weak (same happens with my mobile phone and the headset).
This is an excellent bluetooth adapter, I made a good choice not to go with those cheap $5 ones.
Overall pretty good. Range is limited [Posted on 2008-04-28] It works pretty well, but at about 15 feet the range has hit its limit and the sound starts to breaks up. I've only tried it with one headset, the Plantronics 510.
Works AMAZINGLY good, bought one extra somehow and just kept it [Posted on 2008-05-23] Ok this is amazing, make sure you download your software from www.anycom.com
Thing works amazing for my bluetooth headset for phone and PS3 to work on my computer for COD4.
Also can hook up anything bluetooth(phone, headset, PS3, other computer) to it with many options.
Running a Vista Ultimate on Quad core Q6600 2.40ghz GeForce 780i motherboard 4gigs DDR2 RAM, GeForce8800GT 512MB video card.
Bought one extra somehow and just kept it the first one was so good.
Great for my Motorola HT820 Headset/Wireless Speakers [Posted on 2008-05-29] For the moment I'm only using it for my Headset that I use for Skype (but mainly just for listening to music) and it is great - pairing it is simple, the software is a little bulky, not plug-and-play. It takes a while to install with a CD and when I forgot to take the CD to work I had to download an enormous driver file. I haven't tested out distance or anything but I haven't had any problems so far.
Works excellent, and also with Vista! [Posted on 2008-05-31] I got this adapter specifically because it was compatible with Vista.
We had another adapter from our earlier computer, and it was NOT Vista compatible, so that's one thing you have to watch in these devices. We did have to download a patch for it, and that went without a hitch. Acceptable.
The adapter set up well, and worked from the start. It does not also load a ton of other junk wherein it's looking for networks and all kinds of other things. It just one nice little Icon in the SYSTRAY that says "
Bluetooth Devices"
We got it so I could download and upload from our Motorola V550 phones, and it has worked excellent. I have no complaints about this product and it has worked as advertised.
