Poor quality [Posted on 2008-01-10]
This jacket ripped before I even got it all the way on the Wii remote. The sleeve for the Nunchuck is especially fragile, and the sleeve for the Wii Remote is fragile between the holes for the buttons.
If it ripps between the buttons, it is still usable. However, within the first week it started to rip between the two colors of the Wii Remote sleeve. If this rip gets much bigger, it will no longer be of use.

I bought these protector Sleeves for my Wii remote controls hoping to find a cover and avoid deteriorating my control, and they certainly do that. The problem is that silicon protector is hard to get in place, and also hard to take out, so when you need to change batteries and that would be as frequent as you use for long time your Wii, you have to take out protection and then place it back again. Also, this protectors are not compatible with any control extension like tennis racket, fire gun, zapper pistol, or baseball bat, so, if you want to use these funny toys, you have to take out again protector and when finish, place it back. So, definitely, I decided not to use them, because what I get for good, I think deserves less work. However, nunchuck protection can be always on place and it gives you "personalized nunchuck" for everyone in the family if you use different colors. I bought blue, pink, green and black.
INCREDIBLE PAIN [Posted on 2008-01-31]
These sleeves for your wiimote look really sleek - and they're a real pain too. I'm sure I spend 5 minutes every time I try to put one on.
PLUSES:
-They look neat
-Better grip. I have such sweaty hands that I can barely hold onto a wiimote during Wii Sports. These silicone sleeves help.
MINUSES:
-Terrific pain to get on and off
-No access to batteries
-Makes it difficult to access "+", "-", and "home" buttons. Since many people use the home button a lot, this is a real impediment.
-The nunchuck sleeve is REALLY hard to get on, b/c the plug has to go through a hole sized for the cord.
If your wii batteries last at least a month, you might consider buying a bunch of these CHEAPLY and cutting off the old sleeve to change batteries. If you change batteries more often than once a month, I can't imagine these being worth the time to put them on (let alone get them off again).
The two stars are because they do look pretty jazzy. I haven't had to change batteries yet, so I'm not yet cursing myself for putting these sleeves on.

At first, I had an issue with this because these are made in bulk most likely in factories and are probably not all tested at first.. some may be stronger than others. For me, I got one that broke right away. Regardless, the seller was able to take responsibility for the problem I had and sent me a new one. This one works very well, and I appreciate the effort from the seller. Thanks again.

Skin tore when putting it on the controller. It went from the envelope to the trash. Would NOT buy one.
