The case I bought for my Archos 604 does its job quite well. The only issue I have is that the player isn't being held as tightly as when I first bought the case. It seems that over time, the player may have trouble staying in the case. Other than that, this is a great item. Even if it wasn't that good, there aren't many choices to protect an archos.

The case is ok. The stand which is a part of the case wasn't what I thought it would be. It wasn't as firm as I thought it would be, but it did the job of holding the device. Before getting this case I had spent $3 for a small easel upon which I place the Archos 604. It served me a lot better. I was able to view the moniter at a slant and raised a few inches off the table top. Plus if I had to use the plug to power the unit the space under the easel better accomodated it. With the case you can only view the moniter if using the battery power. Overall the case works in a pinch.

I ordered this leather cover to protect my ARCHOS 604 Wi-Fi. I haven't had a chance to use it much but it seems of good quality. Amazon is my favorite internet site when I want to purchase anything. I always check with them first!

I gave this to my mother for Christmas and she can't put it down. It does take time for downloads - you will need at least 2 hours per movie depending on movie length, but the picture is good and the device is light and so portable, it would be the envy of anyone at an airport or on a plane. You really don't need to buy another stand, as the device has a retractable stand and comes with a case. Honestly, I think this thing is the bomb.
Very Good, But Not the Best [Posted on 2008-01-08]
I got this as a present for Christmas. When I opened it, I couldn't wait to try it out. The machine is quite powerful. A 10-hour Battery Life,an Easy Sync Drag and Drop Format for MP3 and Video Files, as well as it being a Touch Screen Device. I thought nothing could go wrong. I discovered that there was no slot for the stylus on the device, which means I have to carry around the stylus in my pocket. Very easy for it to become lost. Secondly, the headphones are just ok. I had to go out and buy new ipod headphones to make up for the archos supplied ones. This Device is definitely worth buying even though there are some slight issues with it.
