Average product at a decent price [Posted on 2008-03-24] I bought this armband for my iPod Classic (160GB). The product itself is pretty durable, however it does not work so well with the larger capacity iPod models. It could also be a little roomier in the arm adjustment. I am average sized and it was almost too small for my biceps. I ended up giving it to my daughter and she uses it with her iPod Video 30gb. She likes it pretty well and it is not too bulky. My suggestion for an iPod armband is the Xtrememac sport wrap instead. This is a bit bulkier but overall provides the best fit and protection.
Poor quality product [Posted on 2008-05-05] The product did come in a timely manner which I was pleased with. The quality of the arm band appeared to be above average. I also liked the little pocket on the side for a key since I used the product in the gym and would usually need a place to put the key to my locker. I think some type of cord management feature would have been helpful. I found myself wrapping the excess wiring from my headphones around the band or tucking it in my shirt so it wouldn't flail. My initial impression was very short-lived however, because less than a month after receiving the product, it broke. The plastic that covers the face of the iPod ripped and disconnected from the rest of the band, making it impossible for my iPod to stay in the encasement. I was extremely disappointed after having spent better than average money for the arm band.
good product [Posted on 2008-05-26] The armband was in good shape and arrived on time. My only problem was it's too big for my ipod
iPod Armband [Posted on 2008-06-13] I like the way the armband holds the iPod securely. The pouch itself is missing an opening for the charge/com cable. It was a simple fix by taking a razor and creating one so you don't have to take it out for every charge. Good product at a reasonable price.
pretty good while it lasted [Posted on 2008-06-25] overall, this armband served me well while it lasted. the securing mechanism is a little hard to use with one hand, as the band needs to be fed through a failry narrow metal slot, which is made even more difficult as the end of the velcro strip tends to get caught as it goes through. i stuck small velcro squares on the clear faceplate to mark where the forward, reverse, and play buttons were located when my ipod was in the sleeve, that way i could 'feel' for the buttons while jogging etc.
then my metal fastener broke. and now the amrband is worthless. it wasnt that expensive, but it only lasted about 6 weeks...booo!
