The photos make this product look white on the outside. It's truly a dove grey which is more practical from a keeping-it-clean standpoint anyhow. There's also a decorative and functional non-skid ring on the outside of the cover which prevents it from sliding around when used as a mousepad. I bought this and the matching laptop case for my 13" MacBook and am very happy with both. I wouldn't recommend the laptop case if you want to carry much with your laptop: it's very compact, lightweight and portable but wouldn't work for someone who needed to carry files, etc. with a laptop.

I really like this case and love the fact that it can also be used as a mouse pad. I personally would have preferred it to be slightly smaller since I don't have a full size mouse, but that's really not that big of a deal. Also, I bought this with the matching Belkin sleeve that is supposed to be the same color and they are completely different shades of pink. Just bugs me a little since I like for everything to match.

This is a really clever item to have while traveling for work as it not only keeps the mouse secure and padded; but also, it turns nicely into a mousepad!
The photo looks nothing like the actual product, to my delight, as the product looks white in color in the photo. The actual color of the item is a light gray which compliments the pink nicely, and isn't as touchy as white would be.
This item is extremely reasonable and arrived so quickly! I am really happy with this purchase.

I think this pad is pretty good. You obviously have to make sure you are using it on a hard surface. I keep mine open at all times and dont use it to store my mouse in, because what happens is the pad gets a crease in it, and it takes awhile for that to go away, which is annoying to not have a smooth and even surface when you are using it. So it works well if you keep it open and flat..I dont recommend folding it up and closing it for long periods of time.
