This is a sturdy case and my wife's ipod nano fits perfectly. As far I know she hasn't dropped it, so I can't comment on that. However, the screen and the thumb wheel are protected from scratches and all the ports are accessable. It also slides easily in and out of a neoprene armband, which is why I chose this over the silicon skins.

Well first off this was so not red. I wouldn't have gotten this had I know it was magenta I wanted red and unfortunatly didn't get that.
