What an improvement! [Posted on 2008-05-25] I bought the Belkin TuneFM to replace the old cassette version (which was never a quality sound)... what an improvement! The sound is great - like you are listening to the radio. Worth getting.
Best FM Transmitter there is (but not for iPhone) [Posted on 2008-05-29] I've tried several FM transmitters for iPod and this one beats the competition hands-down. In fact, my recent purchase was a second one just in case the first one ever craps out. Key features I like: 1) Signal strength and sound quality are excellent, with a minimum of "sibilance" (hissing/clipping of high-frequency sounds). 2) Transmits on 87.9 FM if you switch it to International mode (undocumented - can be activated by pressing "1" and "4" buttons at the same time, I think) -- no need to hunt for an "unused" frequency in 99% of US cities. 3) Design is compact, attractive, comes in black to match your car's interior, the cable is flexible and a good length. 4) Transmitter can be detached from the charger cable for portability. The only downside is: iPhone - unless you switch to Airplane mode you'll get the digital noise from the phone. If you don't have to talk while listening to your iPhone, works just as well there. In fact, I've used it with iPod Mini, Nano (2nd gen) and iPhone - no issues.
Belkin Transmitter [Posted on 2008-06-02] Overall this product is pretty good. It is a little staticky at times, but I can deal with it. I listen to mostly podcasts on my ipod.
ALright [Posted on 2008-06-11] Its alright despite it doesn't compare to my previous fm transmitter , portable, and numerous stations to use,
So far, so great. [Posted on 2008-06-26] I only got this thing yesterday but I love it so far. The other FM transmitters that I've had all had annoying cords, and I'm always searching for the right channel. This little thing is so easy to use, works great, and doesn't take up a lot of room in the car. My little brother has one, so that's why I decided to find one. For the price, you can't beat it. I was looking at other FM transmitters for Ipods and they are very expensive. I would recommend this product over the rest.
