When I first unpacked the device and checked it out with a nano 3G it worked, for all of 5 seconds I tested it. (the bass and treble buttons are on the front panel, as well as the push on/off and the sound.) But I bought the device for my desk; it is certainly small and unobtrusive enough and not expensive enough I had to worry about its being stolen: not such a big loss if it was, and stealing isn't that common where I work anyway, still one wouldn't have a $100 item sitting on one's desk and this isn't close to that. However, once I had the setup on my desk, and pushed the nano onto it, no sound. Tried to replug in the device (a light indicates it's receiving power) and still nothing. Moved it to another station; still no sound. Plugged computer speakers into it via the OUT AUX but still nothing. All the while indicating it was still on, and the nano itself was in Play mode, so I tried my headset speakers and sure enough the music was in progress. A big disappointment as everything about this device was just perfect - except it doesn't work.

I bought two, one for upstairs, one for down. The sound is great, they take little space.
