This FM Transmitter not only allows you to play the ipod through the car radio it also allows you to charge your iPod. The LCD screen makes it sooooo easy to find a matching radio station with a weak signal. You tune your radio until you find a weak station then you press the up or down button on the transmitter to find that matching station. It also comes with a 3 year warranty.
The cradle is a nice feature that gives you a place to dock your ipod
The reason you need to find a weak radio station is so that the transmitter doesn't compete with a strong signal. It is important not to hit the next button on the radio when searching, because that just brings you to the next strongest signal. Use the up or down button on the radio to find a frequency with a weak signal. By the way the PSL ( positive station lock) helps lock the transmitter to the station you have selected when moving around a busy city
