CALL OF DUTY WORLD AT WAR [Posted on 2009-01-06] MY KIDS LOVE THIS GAME AND I HAVE EVEN PLAYED WITH THEM. YOU GOTTA LIKE WAR GAMES THOUGH!MUCH MORE REALISTIC THAN HALO
Great Graphical Display of a Tired Genre [Posted on 2009-01-06] Overall I do enjoy playing this game and picking up a copy on sale at $35 was a steal. However, it lost its allure a little quicker than expected, perhaps because I feel like I am essentially replaying COD4 in a WW2 setting. The most frustrating thing though is the small map sizes. I spent months playing Bad Company and kind of became accustomed to large maps and a destructible environment. It really disappoints when you try to flank an enemy only to find that you are at the limits of the map while you are taking heavy fire. The story line plays out very well and this game is the best I have seen in bridging history with gameplay. The online play is enjoyable, but with small maps you had better be quick with your weapons.
Best Game EVER!!! [Posted on 2009-01-07] This is probably the best COD game yet. The solo player game is awsome!!! alot more challanging than the previous COD games. also, once you beat the game you can play "Zombies" on co-op mode which your in a building and zombies are trying to get in and you and others go as long as you can until your taken over. Multiplayer is about the same as COD4 except the graphics are WAY better on this one. you can call in dogs which are a pain in the a$$ to kill and much more. I definatly reccomend picking up this title.
My husband loves it [Posted on 2009-01-07] I bought this game for my husband for Christmas...he started playing it a couple of nights ago and I don't think he has gotten much sleep...he can't seem to put the controller down. I assume that means it is a great game !
Duty Calls [Posted on 2009-01-08] When this game came out it was not all that great. However the patch fixed all of my biggest complaints. No more people getting under maps and the weapons are more accurate. Still some issues need fixing, but overall a solid fun shooter.
