Keeps my G9 dry [Posted on 2008-09-08] Work's well under water, but it would be nice if it had a way to control the wheel on the back of the camera.
Excellent U/W Housing for the best RAW Point-n-Shoot G9 Camera [Posted on 2008-09-22] This is a great u/w housing for the Canon G9. Camera fits perfectly inside and ALL controls are accessible via all the buttons and knobs. I took it snorkeling trip just recently and got great results. Please make sure you read the manual (in case with all Canon products) and you will get all your questions answered. I was able to perform every function through the housing, manual exposure, manual focus, etc. I only shoot in RAW and this was a great option instead of a more expensive housing for my DSLRs. The flash plate is a bit awkward but it does the job. You can also shoot some video. If you have a G9, you know that it's a great P/S camera and this housing is an excellent addition to your gear if you like to get wet.
amazing! [Posted on 2008-10-08] Oh wow, taking your camera underwater is incredible!
I was surprised at how sturdy and functional the housing is.
It matches the camera perfectly and you can use ALL the buttons with a dive glove on!
I was pleasantly surprised that the G9's microphone can actually pick up audio while inside the housing. The volume is low but it is clear enough to be usable.
This makes taking the camera to the beach a safe reality.
Great Product [Posted on 2008-10-08] I recently purchased the housing for a boat trip dowm the Grand Canyon. Over the course of the 18 day trip I shot over 1500 shots on and off the water. This housing allowed me to safely shoot from the boat in all conditions. My camera was protected from not just water, but blowing sand and any airborne debris, including an accidental dunk in the river or two.
Use of all the controls and water tight. Can't beat it. The pics I have are priceless. Everyone with the expensive slr's put them away at the first sign of moisture while I shot on through rain or shine.
Well worth the money.
I didn't get my product. [Posted on 2008-10-23] Dear Sir,
UPS delivered my camera case in the wrong adress. DB Roth said they would refund me. Since now they haven't refund me. What are they trying to do?
Please tell them to send me my money back. I've made a payment of 180US and I didn't get my camera case.
I'm not anymore in USA so I can't get the camera case.
