This item is pretty inexpensive and very practical. However, remember the saying: "You get what you pay for". It does what it's supposed to do, but there are only 4 stations you can choose from, two which are never in range and it comes off the plug very easy, as well as having a very short cable. So you'd better make sure you have a place to put the iPod because you wont be able to pull it much from the lighter hole given the short cable and specially since it's very loose, it'll come off very easy if you move it much. All in all, like i said, it does what it needs to do, it just needs special care.

This device is not capable of charging all mp3 players well because it does not output enough power. For my friend's Zen Vision W, the icon for charging is only animated sometimes, most the time not. It does however, keep it going longer than without a charge. I would still buy this device if I could not find any others with more promise in this aspect of design.
The sound quality from the FM transmitter is pretty good. It automatically broadcasts two stations: 106.something and 98.something. You only have those two options. Only having these two stations has never given me any problems though.

It works most of the time well. If I around some place with random airwaves flying around like the airport it works not as good, but only for momently time lasting less than a minute. Great for the price.
