Great travel clock [Posted on 2008-04-02] I have had this travel clock for eight years, and I have no complaints with it. I have traveled around the world with it and have relied on it in all temperatures and time zones. This Casio has worked well for me. My brother is getting ready to travel abroad for the first time, and I am buying him this clock to go with him.
Great clock, but has the old-style light [Posted on 2008-04-25] I like this clock a lot. It cost a little too much, I think, but alas.
However, my only real complaint is that the light on it isn't the Indiglo-style one. It's the dimmer one that lights up the corners. The time, date, day, temperature and all that are great, though. I like the snooze on this one more than most alarm clocks as it doesn't seem to mysteriously stop working after a while (it doesn't seem to give up on you that way). Setting this clock is really easy and nice compared with most, I think, as it uses a few extra buttons where other clocks wouldn't.
Survived a full cycle in the washing macine [Posted on 2008-06-02] This little clock is amazing. I once accidentally sent in through the washing machine with my sheets and it lives on like nothing ever happened. It's been my daily alarm clock for about 5 years now. It's got a small footprint, so it doesn't take up much space on my night stand, it's easy to set and is very efficient with batteries. Truly the best alarm clock I've ever owned.
cheaply made, not durable [Posted on 2008-07-15] the door fell off, then the LCD quit working (just sitting in the
pocket of my duffel bag).
3 YEARS OF ABUSE AND STILL GREAT [Posted on 2008-08-03] I don't review products but this clock has been with me for 3 years. 18 months in Iraq and 18 months of oilfield service. I've only had to change the AA battery twice and it works like new. Bought it from REI and know the original model is solid.
