great deal/great sound [Posted on 2008-02-19] I have bought two pairs of these (so far) after trying dozens of other types and brands. These offer the best fit, best sound & the inline volume adjustment and clip are so convenient. I'm sold on these & wouldn't bother with any others. Husband & son also use them & we all agree, great value.
Large Sound! [Posted on 2008-05-08] I love the sound! I own many headphones. These are by far the BEST!!! The volume and bass can be adjusted through the headphones. They are very comfortable.
Coby Headphone [Posted on 2008-05-15] This Coby Headphone is perfect. Not too tight, not too loose, I wear it for hours listening to my favorite music on my Coby MP3 player.
Great headset for someone with slight hearing loss in one ear [Posted on 2008-06-24] My husband has some hearing loss in one of his ears. We have an ipod and I have downloaded some books on CD to it for vacation. He could not hear one side with the regular headset. I bought this one and he loves it. He can dial the volume up on the side that he does not hear so well in and can hear in both ears now. He just loves these because of that.
I personally do not care for the around the ear headsets, but it does not bother him. - he says they are comfortable. He seldome listens to music with these so I cannot comment on how that is. He has plugged them in to my portable XM radio and listens to talk radio too
2 Changes [Posted on 2008-08-19] Well.... The CV 130s are what the CV110s were with two changes. One, the new blue tinting... eh. The second is the handy on-cord volume/slash stereo control. The new control works well for me in use with my i-pod. After my playlist starts I don't have to keep unlocking my i-pod in order to regulate all those unreleased and rare mp3s with differing record levels. Yeah I could do it all on i-tunes... if I had the time. Regardless, having the control on the cord itself makes it too easy to manipulate. I guess there is a third change with the extra bump in cost. However I can't complain about what, 3 bucks...?
I'm a bit rough on my audio gear so I need about four of these a year, and the price is just right for buying in bulk. I mean I still have these $90.oo headphones on my desk but I don't want to use those on the subway, or at work, or when I'm working out. (Did I mention that the swivel cups keep these things in place rather well?) One good reason I fell in love with these, simply put... ((LOUD)). Whatever, I can respect these for what they are and I've bought a lot of throw-aways before I got to these. As long as COBY keeps making them I'll keeps on buying them...
