Robust USB drive - fast too! [Posted on 2007-04-03]
Purchased this drive to move my large file phots around from home to work, and family members etc. It is also has enough storage for small movies which will be useful.
I wanted to be sure that the drive would stand the test of time since it would be moved around, dropped, squashed etc The rubber design is very tough and I can see it would be hard to break it. So top marks there.
The write and read speed is very fast - make sure you check these time when comapring to other cheaper drives.
I give 4 stars because the encryption software that comes with the drive is not user friendly, and this was a another key reason I bought it.

Mine stayed intact for about one year. It seems to be advertised as a flash drive that can take a beating, but I don't know how helpful the rubber casing is. It creates more opportunity for bending between the USB connector (the tip that you stick into the USB port) and the rest of the internal components since there is no rigid body. This means that even without abusing it, the metal connections between the connector and where memory is stored become weaker and weaker. My connector broke off entirely yesterday. Maybe the rubber would make it sturdier if it was formed over an actual rigid case. I did give it 2 stars because I used it for a year without too many problems.
FAST and rugged [Posted on 2007-09-24]
This is one of the fastest flash drives available on the market. It does depend on whether or not your computer has a USB 2.0 port, of course, but if it does then no problem. Quick to install on any machine (also MACs) and needs no drivers, even if a mini-CD is supplied.
The best feature has to be the rubber encasing. I had the 512Mb version for six months before losing it. I tend to keep USB drives in my pocket, so inevitably they end up in the washing machine sometimes. The Voyager took at least FIVE trips through both washer and dryer, and it kept working flawlessly nonetheless. And this was without the cap! (which, I can guarantee you, you'll lose within a week).
So overall a performing, durable, and relatively cheap purchase.

Compro los productos Corsair porque se que son marcas que cuidan su calidad. Mi memoria USB recién adquirida funciona a la perfección, incluye un cable colgante para colgarlo en mi cuello, muy buena adicción.
Mac/PC Compatibility [Posted on 2008-04-24]
I had other flash drives before this one, which had serious Mac compatibility issues. Even though I would eject the drive, it would still be connected when I would pull it out pull from the USB port. I would worry everytime this happened, since I could lose precious data. I've owned this flash drive for over 2 years now and never had any problems with it. It's very resistable, with its rubber casing and it has been totally compatible with Mac and PC alike.
