I was unaware that the car charger was for an older version of iPods. I am sure this was my mistake, but it would be helpful if that information could be very obvious for non-techies like myself.
IEEE 1394 = Firewire :-( [Posted on 2007-08-02]
This product is meant for ipods that use firewire, not USB. I wish the title said Firewire rather than IEEE 1394.
