Great item [Posted on 2007-05-26] The clock is compact and easy to read. It was just a bit confusing to set up; it didn't have the time zone for Alaska, where we were traveling. If you read the instruction booklet, it's easy to use.
Good for now [Posted on 2008-01-15] I want a functional atomic clock with good review but can't find any. I almost buy the one costs $40 and feel so relief that I didn't. This clock deserves a good review. It's cheaper than others and it has good features. You can set 2 different alarm. Can even set the snooze time too which is very good. The sound wakes me up gently with slow beep, then it becomes faster and it won't stop till you hit the snooze button. At least I don't get shocked by a sudden fast beep beep sound. To stop the snooze you need to press the set button which is smaller. I can do that only when I'm fully awake. The buzzing sound from the snooze button doesn't bother me at all. The set up was easy for me. The size of the AM/PM sign doesn't bother me too. I can see the display in the dark very clearly when I press the light button (same button as the snooze). I can also see it from different angle. The only blur angle is from the bottom. So if u put the clock higher than your eyes you'll need to take it down. Well 45deg from below is still visible to me. The only thing that bothers me is whether the temperature reading is accurate or not. It's 2 degree lower than my wall clock. I'm not sure which one is correct. The temperature sensor is quite sensitive too. If I hold the clock the reading will rise.
<* should get 0 star [Posted on 2008-03-18] I bought this last week. The clock keeps losing an hour between the time I go to bed and the time I wake up. You would think that the most important aspect of quality control for an alarm clock is to keep good time... If you have to be somewhere important in the morning and can't afford a one hour margin of error, get another alarm clock.
Works well [Posted on 2008-04-27] Setting the time and time zone may take 12-24 hours for the atomic clock to set the correct time if you miss one step in the set up instructions. Once set it give time temperature and is compact and easy to pack. The clock is easy to read.
Great features and ultra-portable [Posted on 2008-07-01] This clock packs a lot of useful features into very little space. The display is large and easy to read. The dual alarms are handy and the ability to configure the snooze interval is great. The radio time receiver has worked well everywhere I've tried it. And the whole unit folds down into a tiny package for transport.
My wife uses ours as her regular nightstand clock as well as taking it on trips.
Highly recommended!
