I bought the maroon(it's truly not crimson,red,etc)one off the iskin site a few weeks ago and have had mixed feelings about my purchase.For starters,all the ports are NOT totally sealable--that's a total lie.The hold switch is wide open to moisture,etc.The covers for the dock and headphone jack are a plus, but the edges seem like they could tear fairly easily(I'm not going to try to see if they will,but it sure appears they would). The company tries to talk-up the outside cover case like it's this big-time protection too,but it's just a simple peice of hard plastic.The clip is nice,but is nothing special and would probably break if someone tried to snag your player off your belt or such.The silicone case is nice and thick,and I'm sure it protects well--and I found that the clickwheel actually works better with the skin than without! I've heard that the 160's have had issues with the 'wheel stalling(I've noticed it a bit myself), so that's cool.Getting the outside case on over the silicone case was rediculous.The first side goes on fine over the side notches,but getting the other side to fit was annoying because the holes of the outside case couldn't get all the way past the silicone notches.It's on there good enough for now I guess though.The paint job on the outside case is nice and resembles car paint(I worked at a body shop for a handful of years),but I haven't dropped it yet so I'm not sure how it stands up to chipping and scratching.Overall it seems like a decent protector, but I don't think it's worth the $35 I paid...I should've waited and paid $30 here,but eh well.It's better than my old neoprene sleeve because at least I can see the screen whenever I want.Oh, one more thing,the headphone hole on the silicone is made for the straight-plug type jack.My old Sony's fit in there but I have to squish down the silicone.
*update 1/18/08:Wish I could take a star off my rating.I ended up having to cut out part of the headphone hole on the silicone because my audio jack from my car radio wouldn't fit all the way to allow a clean-sounding connection.Now it looks tacky.Why couldn't iskin simply have made a cut of 1.5 centimeters for a universal jack fit?It's not like the damn thing's waterproof anyways so what the hell?F'in' amatuers.

The sensitivity of the click wheel on the iPod must have changed but iSkin has not accounted for this in this product. Therefore, you will not be able to consistently use iPod's click wheel through the iSkin. I bought 2 and returning both. Major flaw.

I usually like the products iSkin puts out but this one is terrible. It does not work. I thought it was my ipod but no. No click wheel functionality. Great concept but can iSkin fix this problem?

Go for the Evo3 by iskin. The evo4 does not hold together. The colored metal piece does not fit onto the rubber skin, leaving an ugly looking clumsy case. Also, the click-wheel cover prevents you from actually using the click-wheel. Horrible product.
