First off...this item showed up two days after I ordered it. Two days!! I certainly expected it to take much longer than that...WOW!! Secondly...it's a really good shredder. I don't know about the whole eight pages at a time thing - it struggled quite a bit with three pages. BUT...I had a laundry basket (literally, a laundry basket) FULL of items needing shredding. I worked this machine for at least an hour and a half...without rest. It never overheated or slowed down on me. That's way more than I can say about other shredders I've used. I do recommend it for sure...it's a great price for a great item.

It works quite well but not suitable if you do a stack of papers at one sitting as it jams or overheats. I maybe should have gotten a more powerful one for my small business.If you shred only bills or household mail it is great.

I bought this shredder after reading the good reviews it received on Amazon.com. Having used it now for over a month, I'm adding my own review. My advice? Buy it. It's worth it. It's that simple. I use it sparingly in a home office and I can't be more pleased. Having tried out a cheaper shredder from Sam's club and having to return it because it jammed and was finicky about how the document to be shredded was positioned, I'm happy with this one. It does what I expect it to with no fuss. The safe sensor is a nice plus if you have a curious toddler at home like I do. I have no complaints about it.

This is the first shredder we've owned. Our first impressions of the Fellowes 32057: The product works as described in the product description and in some of the customer reviews. As described by several other customers, this shredder is not designed to shred a large stack of documents in a short period of time. The shredder gets quite hot when you work it hard. We are very happy with our purchase and recommend the Fellowes 32057 for people that have occasional/household shredding needs
