For the "W" or Wide 4.3" Series Nuvi [Posted on 2008-10-19] If you do not have the "Wide" 4.3" Nuvi, do not buy this item. For some reason Amazon has been recommending the wrong case to some people when they purchase a Garmin GPS. Again, this item is for the 4.3" screen size. To be sure, check with Garmin before you purchase the wrong case.
As for the case itself, it does a good job of protecting the screen. It will not hold a power cord or any other Garmin accessories other than maybe a SD card. The case is not completely enclosed and it is possible for your GPS to slide out of the case depending on how you store it.
Garmin Nuvi Carrying Case [Posted on 2008-10-29] Nice, sleek and compact. My Garmin Nuvi fits perfectly in the case. I feel good knowing my Garmin Nuvi is out of sight (in the carrying case) when I am not in my car.
Garmin Leather Carrying Case for Nuvi 4.3" Displays (OEM) [Posted on 2008-10-30] Like all Original Equipment Manufactured (OEM) products, it will be more expensive than those made by other companies. But this is a relatively inexpensive item at a MSRP of $18.00, and it's even better at $13.00! If your GPS does not come with a case, make the investment to protect your $300-$400 GPS and buy one. It doesn't have to be OEM, just one that fits properly and is made of a durable material (leather does not rip easily). This case has no special padding for added protection to absorb shock, so it's no different from after market products. I'm very happy with this purchase.
Fits the Nuvi 750 [Posted on 2008-10-30] The Nuvi 750 fits very nicely in the case. It is easy to inadvertently slide the power switch on when inserting the GPS. We try to remember to "lock" the screen after turning the GPS off before putting it in the case.
not happy in Boston [Posted on 2008-11-10] I just received the Garmin 010-10823-01 case for my Garmin 200.Its too large so it sticks out about one inch. I would return it but, once you open the package wrap you have to pay 30% restocking charge plus shipping back and insurance the dam thing cost $12.99 pls 2.00 shipping so to send it back it will cost me about $7.00 not worth it. In Boston is a electronics store that carries everyting I wish I went their first. No happy in Boston
