Move all those cables out of the way and simply leave that remote on the desk.
It's not as cute as some of the other products', but it's a #$(#($ing remote... who cares!
Makes the Gefen DVI Switcher more convenient [Posted on 2007-03-17]
A must have so you can locate your Gefen DVI switcher out of the way. I placed the RMT-2 in the cornor of my mouse pad for easy access. There will be a short time delay for the components connected to the switcher to engage as you switch from one computer to another. I could not give it 5 stars because it has no led indicators to tell you what computer you are switching on.
Not an IR remote! [Posted on 2008-04-01]
This remote is tied to the switch unit by cable so you can be remote as 6ft ONLY. The IR model is not in the Amazon catalog. I don't why they don't offer both...cost is about the same on GEFEN website...though hard to find. Tangles up more desk space actually.
