I bought 4 of these directly from the Gelaskins website (couldn't decide which ones to get). They are absolutely beautiful - the artwork is crisp and colorful. Yes, it is essentially a "sticker" but a very strong one that should prevent most scratches. It is a little bit of a pain to put them on straight, but the skins can be carefully removed multiple times to get them on just right, and they don't leave a residue once removed. If you're not the patient type, find a friend who is good at "crafty" things and ask for help.
These skins make your iPod look like the design was baked on at the factory - a very nice "custom" look. I can't stop looking at it.
