i bought this item so that when i'm on vacation, far from the hotel, i can charge my ipod, in the rental car. i tried it out the other day in my own car, just to see how fast it would charge it.........it seemed to work just fine, no problems :)

I used this charger for a road trip across the US. It works with the older iPod Nano just fine, charging it pretty quickly. It also does allow you to play music while charging, which is good.

I bought it from Apple Local store few days ago.
I tested with my iPhone, it works great !!!

The charging is fine and the status indication very nice to have !!!

Also I checked the audio noise during the charging my iPhone, I did not get so strong noise from this device...
The test has done with my HONDA pilot 2007 model with SONY FM transmitter via. headphone connection.

And an additional comment, it is not generating heat during charing my iPhone.
A lot of website complain the old model, 2007 POWERJOLT has the heat problem !!!
