Lots of Compliments [Posted on 2008-01-13]
I had 3 concerns when I bought this case (all based on previous iPod cases I owned)- 1. Full Screen protection without those annoying thin plastic 'shields' that never seem to lay flat for me. 2. Full access to the click wheel, and 3. Full access to the ports, etc. on the bottom as well as compatibility with all of my home iPod Docks without having to remove the case. This item addresses them all. As you can see from the picture, the iPod is fully encased, except for a hole for the wheel. Also the bottom of the case leaves the headphone jack, the port, and the 'hold' button completely open. You can recharge using the USB cord and/or seat it in a dock without removing the case.

As for appearance, this case looks really cool. The picture doesn't do it justice. It's hard to describe. It has a sort of irridescence to it which sounds like it would look tacky, but it looks surprisingly sophisticated. People have actually stopped me at work and pointed to the case and said 'Nice'! ALso, my iPod happens to be the green model, but it looks just fine in this blue case.

The only issue I have with this case is that it is hard plastic and will most likely scratch if abused. Still, it is better than having the actual iPod become scratched up and ugly. The case can always be replaced.

Does the job [Posted on 2008-05-01]
I bought this case a couple of months ago because I knew my ipod could possibly get a little abused as I listen to it at my p/t job, cleaning offices. This case leaves everything you need open (docking port, hold button, click wheel and headphone jack) while protecting the ipod well. My biggest complaint is that it can be hard to see the screen in the sunlight with the blue case. If I happen to be outside and want to change from music to podcast or fastforward through part of a podcast, I have to take the ipod out of the case to see the screen. While it isn't super hard to do, it can be very inconvienent. I know I could turn the brightness up, but I don't like to mess with those settings much. I always forget to turn them back to the original setting. In hindsight I wish I had gotten a clear case.

Fantastic iPod Case [Posted on 2008-05-07]
In my opinion this is the perfect iPod case. I dropped it pretty hard on pavement and expected it to snap apart, but it stayed together and didn't have a scratch on it.

The case doesn't add too much bulk- mine still looks flat in my jeans pocket, for example. The back is rubberized just enough to keep the iPod sticking to surfaces, but not enough to pick up little bits of dust like other cases. The mirrored front looks really nice and gets complimented frequently. The front does show some scratches after a while, but the ipod underneath is in mint condition, which is really the point.

Overall, this case is extremely well engineered and well worth the money! Makes a great gift for someone who loves their iPod.

Nice case overall [Posted on 2008-05-08]
This case is nice because it's not rubber like a lot of cases (which in my experience get very dirty very quickly). It is also nice not to have to get a seperate screen protector and then try to stick it on without any bubbles. Be forewarned however that since the case covers the screen it does change the tint of the screen and make it a bit dimmer (I just increased the screen brightness and I don't worry too much about the color being slightly off). You can dock, plug in your head phones and get to the hold switch quite well with this case. All in all, nice and sturdy but it would be even better if the portion over the creen was clear, and the hole for the click wheel gradually got thinner so there wasn't such an edge around the wheel.
