Awesome product for iPods for cars with AUX [Posted on 2008-01-22] This is an awesome product and the sound quality is much better than directly plugging into the AUX jack of your car. I mainly listen to Alternative, Jazz and Classical music.
One caveat is that I did have to play with the Hi/Lo setting to avoid getting interference. When I purchased this product, even the employee at the Apple store was green with envy.
It's been 2 months since I've purchased the Tuneflex and I've not had any slippage issues mainly because I use the vertical input jack in my car (there's also a horizontal one in my car). The flexible neck is very convenient so that even the passenger can twist it around for programming from their seat position. This is definitely the best iPod accessory I've bought so far....
WOW! Perfect solution! [Posted on 2008-04-24] For all the people who have almost driven off the road trying to advance their iPod while in the car, THIS is the solution for you.
It took a little while to get the angle just right so the weight of my iPod touch didn't drag it down a little, but once you get it adjusted, you'll stop searching in the seat or change container for your iPod each time the track comes on that you REALLY thought you'd want to hear someday, just not in your car, on shuffle, with a date ("How'd that CARPENTERS track get on there?" you'll say.).
Works as advertised, and a bargain at any price.
Does the job, no problems [Posted on 2008-05-09] Charges your iPod and cleans up the mess made by an AUX cable. Plus it's all on a handy flexible arm (although you can't bunch it up too much and expect it to stay there). Works great!
Poor construction; fell apart on installation [Posted on 2008-06-17] I got this package via UPS today to use in the vehicle I just purchased today. Not only did the unit get stuck in the power outlet of my car, but it caused a short which will not be covered under my vehicles warranty because it is faulty equipment that caused the short. Better off going to Radio Shack and buying a separate charger and stereo cable for about 2/3 the price. That's what I did, and I can actually reach my ipod instead of having to rely on the short arm this unit has
Love it [Posted on 2008-07-01] I got this for Christmas (12/2007) and still love it. I have not had any of the problems others encountered... maybe it is their stereos and not the adapters? I have a 2007 Yukon Denali with a Bose stereo and absolutely love the sound quality provided with this adaptor.
