The iDuo USB media reader is designed to transfer data between
media cards your computer(does not transfer data directly to iPod).

In no place does it state that you can directly load data from a flash card to the iPod. It is a card reader through USB2.0 and a docking station for your iPod. It works great. The only reason it isn't listed higher is because the driver doesn't appear to be optimal (there is a glitch with iTunes, although it occurs rarely).
