A toy [Posted on 2007-09-11] This is a toy at best. It has no playback functions except "play", "next track", and "previous track": no shuffle/random or any other features. Also it doesn't work well, dropping the connection (to the FM radio) every few minutes and starting the track over from the beginning. Finally, the sound quality is inferior to CDs, not surprising since it's broadcasting over FM radio. A waste of money.
better than any I've seen, still not perfected [Posted on 2007-10-15] The transmitter allows you to choose from many channels, which allows for at least one good choice. The volume on the player has to be maxed out, and then the volume on the car receiver has to be at least 50% to hear it good. You cannot skip many tracks at a time (only 1 at a time), which is very annoying since I have at least 250 songs on the device. The remote has to be aimed at the transmitter to work. The player does resume where you left off. It's not perfect, but I haven't seen anything better out there.
Excellent gadget, BUT... [Posted on 2007-10-27] I bought this item... when it arrived to my home I unpacked it, put in my car radio, I went to lunch... when I return of my lunch time, turn on again my new transmitter and guess... IT DOES NOT WORK! I changed a fuse that specifies the manual, but still not work... I'm very unhappy with my new bussiness because it appears to be death :(
OK for the price [Posted on 2008-05-20] Works OK, frequent interference and noise as it catches the signal from FM stations off the air. One thing that hurts my usage of trying to play audio books is that it can only resume from start of a track.
Love it!! [Posted on 2008-05-22] I Love love love this item!! I'd bought a different transmitter a few weeks ago that was OK but had a lot of bleed through. This one has absolutely NO bleed through no skips, nothing! The only problem I have with it is I can't see the screen during the day while driving. But that is a MINOR inconvenience at best.
