For the price you pay, this product is excellent. It comes with 6 foam ear bud covers which will fit most (if not all) external ear buds. These have rejuvenated my old Sony ear buds and they're much more comfortable than the covers that shipped with the original product.
The cord management piece is actually made of a pliable, flexible silicon (meaning that it won't break or snap) and works well to keep the cables tidy. It's fairly light weight and if you keep it close to the jack, you'll barely notice the presence of the cable managemet module. Excellent for working out since it keeps the extra length of cable out of your way.
There is _ONE_ negative, however, and that's that because of the relatively small width of the dongle, it causes the cord to become tightly looped and it takes a while for it to loosen up.
Aside from that, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this again.

I only got the earbud covers to replace the old stretched out ones that were on my ipod earphones. I am very pleased with the quality as well as my choice of color (purple)which helps me to easily identify my earphones from other family member's earphones.

I purchased the 6 pack of wire managers, and got the earbuds as a bonus. I don't need the earbuds and didn't even use them. The wire wraps, however, are doing their job. They work just as I wanted them to, no more no less.

I suppose now that the headset law is in effect in California, my iPhone headphones need to be more available for snappy use, and not in a snarled knot.
The Cable Tidy does a great job. It's small and light, and still looks pretty stylin' even with your headphones wound around (unlike the fish shaped one which looks tacky). It's easy to get your headphones wound on, and easy to get them back off in a hurry (so you can answer a ringing phone, for instance). And everything stayed in place carrying my headphones around in my jeans pocket for a week.
Right price, fixes the snarl. Now I need to buy a few of these for all the other headphones in my house.

It does the trick, but I have found that the holes where you insert the headphones and plug could be a bit more firm in order to hold those pieces better.
