Customer Reviews:

Good choice for good sound [Posted on 2008-07-14]
Yesterday I bought a JBL on stage micro III, which I returned today because of its shallow tinny sound. In its place I purchased the JBL on stage 200lD which is far superior in quality. The additional $20 is well worth it. The sound is rich. If you intend to buy this in the store instead of through Amazon, take your Ipod with you. It's the best way to hear the difference rather than through the store set-up.

Simply amazing. [Posted on 2008-07-23]
This speaker dock is by far the best sounding dock I have owned. I think it even sounds better than my Klipsch iPod dock. No GSM interference at all. Perfect for work. Worth the $150.

great docking station [Posted on 2008-07-28]
i got this one after redaing about many others, then going to a few stores and trying a lot of them. for the money and sound i love this one. i tried some of the cheaper ones and they dont sound even close as good as this one. i didnt need a clock so i opted for the one that is just speakers. i paid $160 after tax at best buy. it was more than i planned to spend, but the cheaper ones just didnt come close and were to big for what i needed. this is a great docking station and for the money its worth it. the sound is so good, i was shocked it was this good. i would get this again if i needed another one!

Good iPhone speaker [Posted on 2008-09-02]
I've had this thing about a week. It's decent. The only real problem has been a random quirk where the volume drops really low by itself. I just turn it back up, but it's a pain. There's no predicting when or why this will happen. Annoying. I have occasionally, after taking a phone call, gotten the "This accessory was not made for iPhone" message, with the option to turn on "airplane mode". I just ignored it, and it went away.

Pros: Good, reasonably powerful sound. Keeps the phone charged while you listen. Remote comes with battery installed.

Cons: Volume will fall randomly and unexpectedly. Occasional "airplane mode" message. Glossy black top and remote smudges easily. A bit pricey for a speaker/charger.

Amazing sound with a small footprint for my G3 iPhone [Posted on 2008-10-08]
Since recently becoming a cube sweller that happens to be smack in the most quiet environment. I needed a little background music and didn't want to use my headphones. After trying out numerous JBL and other speaker docks, I settled on this one. The sound is wonderfuly rich and bass sounds as if its coming from a much larger set of speakers. I was very happy with the pricepoint of $149. The cheaper the unit, the cheaper the sound seems to play here with these units. I did try the Bose dock and the difference in sound really was null at the volume I use here in the office...the unit was also $200.
