Great Sound and Design! [Posted on 2008-06-19] I really love this product. The sound is solid, and nothing rattles or buzzes. I use it with my nano and it fits great! It looks so modern and different too! Very lightweight and portable. Money very well spent!
Love it! [Posted on 2008-08-09] I really enjoy the sound of this JBL ipod speaker system. I have it at work, and it's small enough that it doesn't take up space on my desk. The delivery was very timely too...Thansk Amazon!
Home or Office [Posted on 2008-08-19] The JBL Radial Micro is a great addition for an office sound system. It's small enough to be out of the way and yet powerful enough to give you a great sound. I am very pleased with this small, but mighty player. The sound and quality it puts out is hard to match or even come close to some of the other market brands. I've had many music players, but they pale to the sound of this one.
Works well at a very good price [Posted on 2008-11-19] I have had the JBL Micro Docking Station for about 2 months and everything continues to work as designed. Used in my office at fairly low volumes, it performs well for background music, looks great on my desk and was very easy to setup and use. When I first opened the box I thought it would be too small, but the sound is very good and anything larger probably wouldn't look as good on a desk. Only negative is that you need to look carefully at the remote when you use it - it's easy to hold it upside-down and the buttons are not well-labeled (poor contrast against black remote body). Recommended unless you need very high volume in a larger space.
great for near-field listening, not really portable [Posted on 2008-11-29] got this speaker set Black Friday, after I got a special bluetooth adaptor which can make ipod speaker becomes bluetooth speakers (it's $10 from Sprint store)
then I went to store to check out ipod speaker, this one has decent sound, well balanced, but I notice the bass rolls off rapidly before 60Hz
the speaker sounds pretty good for near-field listening, but not good for big room, bass is rich under low volume, and cutoff a lot on high volume level
the speaker is not really portable, that you have to use it indoors, where the outlet closes by
the remote is kinda hit or miss though, that's why I give 4 stars, it works with bt AVRCP though with the bluetooth adaptor
conclusion: the speaker is pretty good for near-field listening, and with low volume
