I thought it was just going to be a decent buy, but this is a lot better sound quality than I thought it was going to be. It is simply awesome. I'm going to buy another one for my wife.
To Charge or Not To Charge - that is the question [Posted on 2008-06-23]
When I originally purchased this item I thought it would be a step up from the JBL On Stage which I purchased at Costco. Well, unfortunately that was not the case. Both the On Stage and On Stage II DO NOT charge your iPod. And I was more impressed with the remote function on the On Stage versus the remote which came with this On Stage II. I basically returned this item and went to Best Buy to purchase the On Stage III which does charge my iPod. This is not a bad product, just didn't like the lack of functions on the remote and that it doesn't charge the iPod.

I highly recommend these speakers! Great for traveling or poolside. The remote is the best feature! A must have ipod accessory!

Honestly, it took about 10 minutes (mostly extracting the unit from the packaging) to determine this was a return item. If you have decent ears, you'll probably be disappointed. Poor bass, mushy sound. Not recommended.
