Cute, Sounds Great, But Uncomfortable! [Posted on 2007-08-08] ***
This earbuds are as cute as could be, sound great, and are durable, but are very, very uncomfortable. I can only wear mine for about a half hour before they begin to hurt and after an hour I have to take them out---then that's it for the whole day. They are a somewhat soft rubber on the outside but the inside is hard plastic; they are comparable in quality to the earbuds that come with iPod nanos. For the price they are adequate, but you can spend about the same or a bit more and get earbuds that are all this and that you can wear for longer as well.
I ended up buying some "Koss "The Plug" Portable Headphones" for under $20 and can wear them all day; I would recommend something like this instead.
I do like the colors that these earbuds come in, but they are more than an accessory for me and have to be usable as well. The sound quality is just fine for a cheaper ear bud---no complaints here.
Mine often fall out because they do not change their shape to accommodate your ear; your ear must change shape to fit this earbud, hence the discomfort.

good little headphones [Posted on 2008-02-01] Headphone are as individual as what color iPod or zune you purchase. Look, I own a few pair of in-ear headphones, etc. I wanted a low-cost, yet quality and comfortable headphone and I picked these "gumy" black olive color head phones at wal-mart for$9.96. They are very comfortable, but again I found the heaphones that came with my 4 gb zune somewhat uncomfortable to wear for long periods. These have a rubberized coating around the headpone that is comfortable. Plus, they sound great! The stereo quality is very good for such a low-cost headphone. Definitely worth the purchase.
Eh they are ok [Posted on 2008-04-14] I got these as a replacement for my iPod headphones and really they aren't quite as good. The sound is very "tinny" and seems to have a more shrill treble with lacking bass. I've compensated for it by turning up the bass on my iPod but this is just a terrible solution and also doesn't sound "right."
I'd return them but they are so cheap I'll just replace them with something else when they break. I wouldn't recommend these for anyone who wants a set of ear buds that are better than the iPod's.
GREAT!!! [Posted on 2008-05-12] these head phones are a brgain for the price, they seam to fit my ears fine, and if u roll up the gummy casing on the connector a little bit u can use them on a iPhone
Durable and Comfortable [Posted on 2008-06-22] I've had these earphones for months!
They never broke, I've stretched it, abused it, and I even dropped it in soup.
I bought this from a gas station a long time ago, for $9'99, there was one right next to it for $2 ..My brother bought the cheap ones and they broke a week later..he probably bought around 10 of those cheap earphones ($2) by now, and they all broke..but as I said, I still have my Gumy earphones after all this time :)
I don't know what the other people are talking about, I find them very comfortable and very good in terms of sound quality, I think these are worth a lot more than $9.99 - I would pay $30 for these ..
I got more than what I expected and I'd gladly buy it again...if..and that is IF they break.
