These headphones were perfect for me. I love the in-ear design so that it actually stays on my ear while I'm listening to music. It lets just enough outside noise in so that I can enjoy my music while still being aware of what is going on around me. Even though they were designed for cell phones, they still meet my mp3 player needs just fine.

It must be my ears but I have never been able to find any earbuds that are comfortable, until now. The silicone covers don't itch or cause any tenderness whatsoever and you can twist them for an exact fit. The buds can be used with a cell phone and, with the provided adapter, can be used with an mp3 player, computer etc. My main reason for purchasing the earbuds was to use them with my mp3 player. Unfortunately the adapter was broken and too loose. I had to run out to the store and get another adapter.
This review is for usage with Palm Treo 750 [Posted on 2008-04-27]
I wanted this item because I wanted to go running and use my palm treo as a music player. Everything about this product is excellent, it fits in the ear and comes with an adapter that converts the 2.5 to a 3.5 input. The only problem is I got screwed by its sophisticated adapter. There is a screw pattern towards the bottom of the jack thats used to screw into the adapter. This is good in that the adapter will NEVER come off and its shut tight but when I try to plug it into my palmtreo (2.5mm) it doesn't go in all the way because of the screw pattern. In order to use it for my treo I have to use the adapter (3.5mm) and then use my own adapter to convert it back into 2.5mm. It works but I had to modify it and when I go running I have to make sure my phone is fully charged if not it will die fast because of the two adapters.
Not for use with HTC 8125 [Posted on 2008-08-15]
I bought these to replace the uncomfortable earbuds that came with my T-Mobile MDA (AKA the HTC 8125, HTC Wizard, Dopod). The sound is good unfortunately it only plays through one ear. The HTC 8125 (and other HTC products) use a proprietary 2.5 mm connector that has 4 conductors. Even though I have found 2.5mm 4c connector headsets evidently the conductor order is different.
Bottom line, don't buy these to use with an HTC product.
All Stereo Headphones w/ Mics are bad [Posted on 2008-11-14]
I have an LG Muziq, that I like for the most part. I have gone through more headphones then I can count - at least 3 pairs of the expensive body glove sports, a few assorted other pairs, and have already gone through 3 of these Jabras.
As far as I can tell, there isn't a single durable stereo headphone w. microphone set that works for mp3-playing phones. I have done tons of research, and have just found that EVERY thing out there that can handle stereo sound as well as let you talk on the phone, have a life of about 3 months tops. I don't know if its that I'm extra rough on them, but without fail, I will lose all sound in one of the headphones in about that time.
That being said, these things are pretty decent for what they cost. The sound isn't especially good (the body glove ones sounded great) but its there, and they do curve around your ears so they won't fall out (like if you ride your bike). Personally, I wish there was a decent set of headphones out there for music phones, but since I haven't found anything even remotely durable, I'll probably keep buying these things.
