Great iPod player - but not an iPod Alrm Function - Very Deceptive! [Posted on 2008-01-06]
If you want an inexpensive charging and speaker dock this is decent. If you expect an iPod alarm function, it does not have one.

I received one of these for Christmas. The iPod sounds great. Very surprising quality given the size and price, but when I went to set it to wake me with iPod tunes I just couldn't figure it out. I poured through the manual and searched the web to no avail. Finally I called Jensen and they told me the JiMS-195 does not offer this feature, just a horrible self generated alarm tone to wake up by.

I think this is a very deceptive product in terms of packaging and marketing. Any other iPod dock with an alarm function allows you to awake to you iPod, but not this one!

If you want an inexpensive charging and speaker dock this is decent choice. If you expect an iPod alarm function, it does not have one so look elsewhere.
