Seems to be a good solid rewinder with adequate power to rewind tapes in a short time period and hopefully will last a long time.

Not a good quality product. I ordered it in May of 2007 and now June 2008 I am looking for another. There are very few made these days. I don't want another of these but may end up with it anyway.

I WAS happy with the Kinyo NK-2 Heavy-Duty Commercial Use 1-Way VHS Rewinder UNTIL IT DIED AFTER LESS THAN EIGHT MONTHS OF VERY LIGHT USE!!! Don't waste your money on this piece of junk! I bought this because I was sick of paying for a new rewinder every year or so. SURPRISE!!! The so-called Heavy Duty Commercial Use NK-2 didn't even last as long as the rewinders costing 1/3 as much!

I've rewound several tapes so far and find this rewinder to be whisper quiet and fast. I don't understand those critics that claim it is terribly slow. I find it plenty fast. How much speed do some people want??? Also if you have a full tape to rewind you can always do something else while it is rewinding!
