The item was received in good working order and in a short period of time. I am very happy with the sound produced including the bass response. I have had time to play many different types of music and all sound great. I recommend this item to anyone looking for a great way to play their music from the Ipod and charge it simultaneously. This item is like brand new.

Pretty portable, and amazing sound quality, though audiophiles may disagree with me. We move them around the apartment form time to time and are seriously considering getting another set. Bought as a gift and more likely to be purchased, shipping and cost were well within our budget and like I said, just wonderful!

After almost one good year of service, the unit started to have static and finally died. Couple of quick email exchanges with the Kensington customer service later, a replacement unit was on its way. Can't say enough about the great service provided by Kensington.
Very Poor Sound Quality [Posted on 2008-05-14]
I was really disappointed when I tried out this unit given the high rating others have given it. The sound is dull and without clarity. It is something I would expect from a clock radio with a big speaker. Don't buy this product if you want a player with high sound quality.
