Falling apart in less than four months [Posted on 2008-06-19]
I love this mouse because it's accurate, never lags, and is the right size for my hand. However, in less than four months the black rubber where my index finger goes started coming apart from the rest of the mouse, and now there is a "bubble" underneath my index finger. I'll soon be looking for a new mouse with a top skin of hard plastic.
wireless mouse fixes a problem [Posted on 2008-07-24]
The Kensington 72239 pilotmouse wireless laser usb mini mouse has fixed a problem for me, and, it works great. Plus, I got a good gold box price when I got it, lol. I use it as a remote for my pc to hdtv connection via vga connection. It has good wireless range so I can be in living room and control pc from my couch. Thats good when you want to view videos from the computer to the tv, when your tv has a pc in connection. Of course, you can do anything on the computer, while viewing it on your pc enabled tv. One other nice thing about it is that you don't have to worry about the battery running down because when you stow the usb receiver onto the mouse for storage, it automatically turns itself off. I would highly reccomend it, especially if you can find it for cheap like I did.

I purchased the Kensington 72239 PilotMouse Wireless Laser USB Mini Mouse (PC) to use with my ASUS Eee PC 901 mini laptop for our trip to Europe August-September 2008. I like its construction, wireless operation, and smaller size (somewhat) compared to most conventional mice. It's a bit heavier with the two AA batteries (but that's not a big problem). What's also nice about the PilotMouse is the included wireless USB adaptor clips onto the bottom of the mouse for easy storage and automatically switches the mouse off to conserve batteries. We used the laptop (and PilotMouse) just about everywhere we had WiFi access (and in Europe it's everywhere, including McDonald's restaurants) and I never had to replace the batteries once in three weeks during our trip (I replaced them about a week after we returned home). The PilotMouse is a bit more expensive than most other mice but it's well worth it. I had originally purchased a Logitech Cordless Mini Optical Mouse (931396-0403) and it stopped working after just five days, so I returned it for a refund and ordered the PilotMouse just days before our trip. I HIGHLY recommend this PilotMouse.
