With the limited amount of docking stations available for the Zune, we decided to go with Kicker because of name recognition. For the size of the package this unit pumps out some strong-clear sound. We used it while camping for its initial break-in period and had to be careful not to disturb the entire campground.
Fabulos Sound Worth the money [Posted on 2008-09-11]
I was shopping around for speakers for my zune and though this might be the best product overall though i was a little aprehensive about the price. It was worth the money. its a little large and runs only off electricity so its not the best as far as portible speakers. However that being said i take mine any were there is electricity the sound quality is worth the extra weight of carrying it. The sound comes in crystal clear even at 30(the highest volume) which is extremely loud(when i played it up that high some glasses fell off the bar and broke). the remote works from pretty far distances however if your looking for a spacific song it wont help you have to get close enough to see the menu) and the base comes in great. I have been waiting for a system like this for over a year.I was ready to give up and just use some computer speakers.Then I saw this Kicker system on one of the Zune forums.I knew right away this system was going to be great.Hey Kicker has made some awesome products of the years, so this was a no brainer.
It has tons of clear and clean power (40 watts). The subwoofer produces excellent bass,it blends great with the front speakers perfectly. I am a person who does not just settle for any old sound. So this system worked out great. You can really turn it up to max vol 40 if you needed too.Just keep pushing it can take it.
The rest of the feature are great to.Multi-inputs,aux,video output and a good remote control.I also like the feature that the volume reset it's self to defult setting when you power down.This way you will not have it very loud when you first turn it on.I don't care about a clock or other silly useless feature like other systems have.Come on, you are buying a speaker system that's for music and this one will blow the doors off of anything out there!

This Kicker Zune Dock is almost unbelievable. I hooked it up, and it was SO crisp. Clear, clean sounds, and zero distortion. It has volume that ranges up to 40, and I didnt go past 34, simply because it was THAT loud, and it presented crystal clear sound - I cant stress enough how there was a LACK of distortion. And it RUMBLED! The bass was fantastic! I couldnt believe that such a deep penetrating bass was coming from such a little unit. And get this - I only had the bass setting on +2!! I took the bass up, and it was rocking the whole house! Dance-club-esque.
I got this for $225, and it was worth every penny. Dont skimp out and get some crappy sounding dock because you are trying to save a couple bucks - put down the money and BUY this! YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!

DOÉS EVEERYTHING IT SHOULD. I LIKE IT.
