Koss Rocks Hard [Posted on 2007-08-06] Always loved Koss headphones, and these are no exception. Great highs, responsive lows, accurate even at high volume. The only thing that is missing is a volume control on the wire and the wire itself could be a bit more,.. sturdy. They fold down nicely to fit in your pocket.
Koss scores again [Posted on 2008-01-09] Koss scores again on these phones. While not as powerful or dynamic as their titanium diaphram earphones, these are smooth and transparent. They do a great job of reproducing the full spectrum, and have excellent balance. The difference between these and the titanium based phones is like the difference between a good pair of AR-3's, and BOSE speakers. Both excellent in their own way, but totally different. For the price....highly recommended. I would like to have a volume control, and a little heavier cord though.
Excellent Robust Sound with good bass [Posted on 2008-05-31] This little fairly inexpensive headphone surprised me. When I compared it to the "Sony MDR-G74SL Street Style Headphones" it sounded FAR superior.
There's no LEFT AND RIGHT ear labeling I can find, perhaps because you can wear it two ways, with two different ergonomic configurations. I prefer the shiny silver piece under my ear lobe.
Worst head phones ever!!! [Posted on 2008-08-20] Don't buy these things. Mine broke less then a month. If your a heavy user of head phones don't even contemplate buying these. Its made out of some brittle plastic stuff that crumbles with just the little pound of pressure. The only good thing about these phones is that they can fold up and be stashed in your bag and ready to go but you still have to make sure they don't get crushed by anything.
What made it even worse is that I have a casing on my Zune and the plug won't fit all the way in, so if you just yank on the wire just a tiny bit the sound stops flowing and usually my Zune comes with a pause sequence just in case the phones get disconnected but with this headset it doesn't work like that, so it would take me hours to find out the my player was still on play and that my battery was almost dead.
Also the sound quality isn't that great I recieved better sound and bass out of my Philips SHS391 Behind-The-Head Headphone (White)'s then these things. Keep looking and Good luck!!!!
almost awesome [Posted on 2008-08-22] The sound is fantastic. I just received these yesterday and am wearing them for the first time today. My job is in a quiet office so I'll be wearing headphones for the better part of the day and then on the bus home. Great sound and at first they fit great. I'm a small person (not as in dwarf, but petite) and the phones fit snugly on my ear. The cushion is comfy and I love how this item packs away. Its a must for my public transit riding life. But now its a couple of hours in and both my ears are getting pinched--the right moreso than the left for whatever reason. I'm hoping they will loosen up w/time. But yea, the sound is great! Fantastic bass and high end!
