I have tried many other types of headphones, all more expensive, but no others come close as far as comfort and value for exercise or travel. Lifetime warranty on these also. Can't go wrong!

I got these headphones a few months ago from J&R and I've been very pleased with them. The sound quality is great, and they're comfortable to wear. I only wear them as over the head style. When converting them to behind the head style the head phones did not sit evenly over my ears and wasn't very comfortable, but I never planed to wear them this way anyways so I don't care.
The little cushion pads that sit above your ears are nice and help take some of the pressure off your ears. But the feature I like most is the little clips on these headphones for when you're not using them. Put the headphones into over the ear configuration, slide the metal bands so they're fairly small, fold the speakers in and then use the hook and latch system to close them. Now the pads are protected and the headphones are amazingly small. Mine from J&R came with a small leather-like bag to keep them in which is perfect for taking them along in a backpack.
Overall very good, I'm extremely happy for the price. I'd be more reluctant if you wanted to wear them in the behind the ear configuration.

Have been using these headphones for about 6 months now and almost exclusively for running. Had tried various combinations of earbuds, inserts without ever feeling really satisfied. These Koss headphones stay put, are comfortable and sound better than any earbud combination I've tried. Earbuds, even the type with the over the ear clips would always jiggle loose. Sweaty earbuds after a run is kinda gross too. I typically run 5mi and at the end of a run they are just as comfy as they were when I first put them on. I usually have the volume up, but you can dial the volume down and still be able to hear traffic and things around you on runs. They fold up really well and are pretty rugged.
The Bad: They are ugly ugly ugly. They kinda remind me of the first generation of Walkman headphones...remember cassette tapes?

These are great headphones! Yes, you can hear some external noise, but that goes with the territory of having open headphones. You won't find a better pair of portable headphones for under $85 and trust me I tried. My review here is more about the company than the headphones though. My teenage son was screwing around with one of his friends and managed to pull the wires right out of the headset. I got him cheaper set of Koss headphones and in a short period of time that set had a short on one side. Now with two broken pairs, he decides to check the Koss Lifetime No Questions Asked Warranty. Two sets of headphones get mailed to Koss with a check for $12 for return shipping and a week later we have two new sets of headphones. Unfortunately, the SportaPros were replaced with a lesser quality headphone. I called to inquire because I was curious if that was their policy. I wasn't going to fight with the customer service person because it was his fault after all and he still ended up with better than he had. Without question, she offered to send me another set of SportaPros and a prepaid label for return shipping on the other set. I can't even tell you how thrilled I am with this company. Not only that, there customer support is in the US!! Kudos to Koss! It was refreshing to deal with a company that hasn't forgotten what true customer service really is about.
