But it works pretty darn good for $15 bucks! I use mine with a lite weight headset (optional) as I find any kind of ear bud very uncomfortable to wear any length of time (which is why I stopped wearing hearing aids). Wearing headsets is becoming the popular choice for busy people so get the headset, hang your ListenUp on your shirt pocket and stay in the game.

I purchased two of these because I live in an apartment and need to keep my loud tv lower. Both sound like you are in a tunnel and very monotone. But most annoying is that the sound of the device moving around or being touched hurts your ears if the device is turned up enough to hear a low tv. The ad shows a man holding it in his hand. Holding it in your hand is impossible because the loud pops you hear from the Listen Up. I also had problems order the products and would never buy again from the web site company again.

This is junk, save your money. It sounds like your in a garbage can with the tinny sound. By the way, the garbage can is where it belongs

I could actually hear the tv BETTER when I took the ear buds OUT of my ears, it picked up every other sound in the room almost like a stethoscope being held up to everything except the tv. The dog barked and I nearly had a heart attack it was so deafening. Just holding it in my hand made sounds so loud I couldn't stand it.

This is one purchase that i wish i hadn't bought. It is like one of those cheap $0.50 toys you can get from the super market except it is worse. it picks up every single little sound from your foot step to your clothes rustling. I can barely here the things around me because my clothes are sooooooo loud!
