This is a great "little" sound system for your ipods to play on. I use mine at work and immediately liked how easy it is to use. The sound quality is good (up to a certain point) and I work in a large room that is full of students doing art and the sound fills up the space nicely without losing its quality. I will also say that at home, I own a Klipsch (which is comperable to Bose) and if you are looking for that kind of sound quality in this little speaker system than you are better off spending the money on the Bose or Klipsch. I have to admit this little guy does the job and even has little extras like the battery power, adapters for various types of players, AC power adapter and even a remote. So overall, I would say the qaulity is great for the value...just don't expect the same sound and power you get from a Bose stereo.
Horrible Sound Quality [Posted on 2007-07-12]
I bought one and I couldn't put up with the static coming from the speakers. There was even static when I paused the ipod. I returned that one and got a second one hoping that the first was just defective. The second one that I received had the same awful sound quality, and the remote hardly worked! Maybe they were both defective, but I've decided to try a different company that doesn't put out as many defective units.

I like the unit. It is small and handy and attractive. I wish the sound was a little more like the sound I get directly from the I-pod. It is not as rich and round as the ear phones. I have used the unit twice and both times had a problem with my Ipod not working properly after that. It seems to recycle itself eventually and go back to working normally. I'm not sure if it is me or the unit doing something wrong. I'd like more troubleshooting options.

Very Boxy Sound [Posted on 2007-11-05]
i am looking to replace this unit. Midrange is elevated and the highs are weak. The construction quality is ok but I just don't like the sound.
